Unique Style and Impeccable Mazda Quality - See How the Mazda CX-30 Stands Up to the Subcompact Competition

Mazda has long been the brand name that drivers throughout the Sioux City turn to and trust when they want a car or SUV that's stylish, well-equipped, and fun to drive. At Jensen Mazda, we appreciate the quality that goes into every Mazda model, and we're excited to introduce you to our collection.

If you love small SUVs and you want one that really stands out from the crowd with genuine style and unbeatable performance, consider the latest vehicle to join our lineup, the Mazda CX-30. A five-passenger, subcompact SUV that has four doors and two rows of seating, the CX-30 is in its first generation around here, and it's quickly become one of our favorite models to recommend.

The Mazda CX-30 has a lot to offer. But we know that it's probably not the only small SUV competing for your attention. To help you understand what sets Mazda engineering apart from the competition, we've done our homework. Read on to learn more about the improved power, features, style, and more that you can expect with a new CX-30 when compared to the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Kona small SUVs.

The Mazda CX-30 vs. the Kia Seltos

  • Power and performance. Both of these eye-catching, subcompact crossovers give drivers a couple of different engines to choose from. But the Kia Seltos can't compete with the power put out by the CX-30 engine options. The Mazda starts at 186 horsepower for its base engine, and jumps to a top 250 horsepower available on its optional engine upgrade. The Seltos, on the other hand, starts with a base output of just 146 horsepower and tops out at 175 horsepower for its upgraded option.
  • Standard safety features. Safety is always your priority, and it's always a priority for Mazda as well. Every Mazda CX-30 model, starting at the base-level entry trim, gets a slew of advanced safety features standard, such as forward collision mitigation, lane keeping assistance, automatic high beam control, and much more. But the Kia Seltos doesn't get any of these safety amenities standard. They don't become available on the Kia until further up the trim lineup.

The Mazda CX-30 vs. the Hyundai Kona

  • Performance and power output. A part of the renowned Mazda collection, it comes as no surprise that the CX-30 packs a punch when it comes to impressive performance and responsive handling. Look for more of both when you consider our Mazda SUV for your Vermillion and Le Mars commutes, especially when compared to the Hyundai Kona. While the CX-30 starts at 186 horsepower and tops out at 250, the Hyundai starts at 147 horsepower and tops out at 175 horsepower.
  • Cargo space.Whether you're grocery shopping or embarking on a road trip adventure, when you need space to tote your important gear, the Mazda CX-30 has it. Look for more than 20 cubic feet of available rear cargo space with our CX-30 SUV, while the Hyundai Kona tops out at around 19 cubic feet of rear space for cargo.
